trip information
Departing from the event homebase at Woodford Showgrounds daily, trips will cover the local area including Bellthorpe NP, D’Aguilar NP, Glasshouse Mountains, and everything in between. Attendees will have a plethora of driving options from amazing scenic national parks to challenging driver and vehicle capabilities while tackling some of Australia’s most iconic obstacles in the Glasshouse Mountains!
Scenic Trips
Not an adrenaline junkie? Scenic trips will be on offer with sealed and unsealed roads visiting points of interest, local farms, historical features and scenic lookouts.
Easy Trips
Easy trips have been planned specifically to cater to those of us who have not had a lot of experience or prefer to keep our Jeep stock. These trips offer the opportunity engage in 4-Lo and overcome obstacles but without the added difficulty of steep terrain and off-camber tracks.
Medium Trips
Medium trips are the next step up. 4-Lo will be engaged for most of the drive and the obstacles will be larger and more difficult than on the Easy trips.
These trips will include some steep terrain and ruts. Wheel placement will be important and some drivers may feel more comfortable calling for a spotter in some situations on these tracks.
Hard Trips
Hard Trips will test the ability of both Jeeps and the drivers. These trips will have a high chance of requiring winching and/or recoveries.
Lockers and winches are a must and panel damage is a real risk. If you are thinking about signing up for a Hard Trip, talk to the Trail Guide.
